The  Fees Appeal European Court of Human Rights

A lawyer's fees are determined according to the nature of the dispute, the time devoted to the study and preparation of the file, the time spent outside the firm, the difficulties of the case, the value in dispute and the situation. customer's economy.

As French legislation does not provide for a scale of fees, the lawyer is free to set his fees by mutual agreement with his client.

The lawyer's fees allow him to be remunerated for the intellectual work he carries out on behalf of his client and to cover the costs of the due diligence he undertakes in the context of a case (such as letters, interviews, telephones, photocopies, drafting of deeds, participation in hearings, etc.).

Depending on the complexity of the case and the extent of the due diligence to be carried out, the payment of a provision may be requested from the client before the file is closed.

It is possible to establish a fee agreement before the intervention of the lawyer. This agreement can be fixed. The block fee agreement is mostly suitable for simple cases and it is difficult to apply it to all cases, especially when it is a complicated and unpredictable case.

With regard to the success fee agreement, it can supplement an ordinary or fixed fee agreement and cannot constitute the sole means of remuneration for the lawyer.

There are also legal protection insurances which cover either all or part of the lawyer's fees. This insurance can be taken out with your usual insurer. Indeed, home or auto insurance can include legal protection insurance.

Maître GASIMOV will inform you, during the first meeting, of his fees in a detailed and precise manner in view of the characteristics of your case.
